Editor of award-winning films

I am a personable and creative offline editor with 14 years of professional editing experience.

Having trained in music and fine arts, I have always been fascinated by the way images and sound can combine to achieve something greater than the sum of its parts.

From high-end natural history productions to fast-paced live TV and carefully crafted documentaries, my credits include A Real Bug’s Life (Disney+), the BAFTA-winning BBC ‘Springwatch’ 2020, conservation ob doc series ‘Rescued Chimpanzees of the Congo with Jane Goodall’ s1, and BBC’s blue-chip series ‘Blue Planet II’ and ‘Seven Worlds One Planet’.

I have also cut over 200 short films including digital series, TV ads, music videos, social media promos, and short documentaries for BBC, Nat Geo, Fairtrade, Shelter, Microsoft, Integrate UK, and Dyson, among others.

I work in Avid and Premiere, with intermediate skills in After Effects, and am able to edit content in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

I have experience speaking publicly at schools and universities, mentoring up-and-coming editors, as well as helping deliver filmmaking and media training to various underrepresented communities in the UK and abroad.

I also managed the Bristol Editors Network for two years (2020-2022), where my role was to help foster a network of support for local post-production freelancers during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. As co-manager of B.E.N. I also helped organise community events, online talks, surveys, and assisted other committee members in managing our partnerships with sponsors.

Based in Bristol, UK.
